THROUGH THE WATER
The Metropolitan Museum of New York is one of the largest in the United States. It houses more than 500,000 pieces from around the world and is located in New York, a multicultural city. Considering this, this project focuses on the museum's facade, which has a strictly classical air, is imposing, and can be overwhelming for some audiences. Aiming to adapt the museum to our times, Through the Water proposes a physical intervention that completely reforms the exterior space and the appearance of the museum's facade. Through this installation, a welcoming atmosphere is created, fused with the museum but also with the city.
